This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we may use on the public AcademyOS website and how you can control your preferences.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They can help the website work correctly, remember preferences, measure traffic or support marketing campaigns, depending on their category and your consent.
2. Where this policy applies
This policy applies to the public AcademyOS websites, available on www.e-academyos.ro and www.e-academyos.com, including homepage, features, pricing, contact and legal pages.
We do not use the same marketing tracking inside the AcademyOS application, on app.e-academyos.ro, on tenant subdomains such as school.e-academyos.ro, on customer custom domains or in the super-admin area.
3. Cookie categories
Necessary
These cookies are required for website functionality, security, consent preference storage and basic technical operations. They cannot be disabled from the cookie banner.
Examples: security cookies, session cookies, technical protection and consent preference storage.
Analytics
These cookies help us understand how the public website is used: which pages are visited, which calls to action are clicked, how visitors reach the website and where we can improve the experience.
Examples: Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager, page_view, user_engagement and funnel events such as pricing_cta_click or contact_submit_success.
Marketing
These cookies may be used for Google Ads, conversion measurement, remarketing, advertising audiences, campaign personalization and Google signals / enhanced insights, only if you accept this category.
Examples: Google Ads signals controlled through Google Consent Mode v2, such as ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
The public AcademyOS website uses Google Consent Mode v2 to send your consent state to Google. Before you make a choice, analytics and marketing preferences are denied by default.
| Signal | Default | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| analytics_storage | denied | traffic and analytics event measurement |
| ad_storage | denied | advertising storage |
| ad_user_data | denied | signals for ad measurement and optimization |
| ad_personalization | denied | ad personalization and remarketing |
| functionality_storage | granted | required website functionality |
| security_storage | granted | security and abuse prevention |
5. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google signals
We use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics and marketing tags on the public website in a controlled way. Through Google Tag Manager we may load Google Analytics 4 and, if Marketing consent is granted, signals used by Google Ads, remarketing, audiences and Google signals.
Google signals can help improve audience and conversion measurement, but it is controlled by your consent for the Marketing category. If you reject Marketing, advertising and personalization signals remain disabled.
6. What we do not send to Google
We do not send Google personal data from the institution application, such as CNP/personal identification numbers, phone numbers, student or parent emails, company tax IDs, student names, teacher names, institution names from the application, financial data, documents, contracts or tenant slugs used to identify an institution.
Marketing events are designed to measure general actions on the public website, such as clicking a plan, clicking a call to action or submitting the contact form, without sending sensitive data.
7. How you can change your preferences
The consent banner lets you choose separately whether you accept Analytics and Marketing cookies. You can reject, accept all categories or configure individual preferences.
Your preferences are stored in your browser. If you delete cookies or use another device, you will need to choose again.
